LOBBYING ACTIVITY & MEDIA

The ACT & Region Chamber of Commerce & Industry is continually lobbying the ACT Government on a range of issues on behalf of our members.
Chamber staff sit on a variety of committees and advisory bodies and are in a position to present the views of the business community and advocate for appropriate change.

The Chamber is always at the forefront of business activity and is well placed to provide up to the minute information to members. Thanks to contact and cooperation with groups such as the Australian Federal Police and the ACT Government, the Chamber can provide advice and safety tips to members on how best to secure business and when extra precautions should be taken.

Often, the Chamber is able to provide advance warning of upcoming legislative changes, business audits and more. The Chamber will provide easily understand updates and explanations of the more complicated legislation surrounding business.
