Chris is the Chamber's Chief Executive. He is also the Chief Executive of Australian Industry & Defence Network (Canberra) Inc. and Retail Traders Association ACT Region Inc. He is ACT Chairman of the Hong Kong Australia Business Association Limited.
Chris represents business on over 20 ACT government boards, committees, statutory authorities, or Ministerial Advisory councils. These include ACTPLA's Commercial Advisory Group, Skills Commission, the Board of Senior Secondary Studies (Deputy Chairman), Vocational Education and Training Advisory Group, ACT Accreditation and Registration Council, ANU School of Music Foundation, Capital Region Community Foundation, and Defence's Joint Training Task Force.
He is on the Board of two public companies and a number of community organisations. Chris is a member of General Council of the Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ACCI). He is Chairman of the Corporate Directors Association of Australia Limited, Multicultural Business Chamber of Australia Incorporated, Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Industry Council (ACT & Region) Limited.

Sam is the Executive Officer of Young Business Network, Australian Industry & Defence Network (Canberra) Inc., Retail Traders Association ACT Region Inc., and Hong Kong Australia Business Association Limited.
Sam is also the Chamber’s Events and Communications Director and is responsible for the management of all Chamber events, including sponsorship and promotion. She also produces the Chamber’s marketing material and communication with Chamber members, including the fortnightly electronic newsletter Chamber News, regular mail outs and general member enquiries and maintains the Chamber’s web site. Sam manages Chamber’s Young Business Network program and you will also see Sam at all Chamber events.
Toni is one of the Chamber’s Business Development Managers. Our Business Development Managers are responsible for membership development, responding to queries regarding new members, membership upgrades and membership renewals. Toni has experience across a range of industries which enables her to respond to the needs of a wide variety of Chamber members. You will find Toni out and about town discussing issues and concerns with businesses in the region. You will also see Toni at Chamber events.

Trevar is the Chamber’s Director of Employment, Education and Training. With a background in secondary and tertiary education, he oversees the Chamber’s activities within the education and training sector, working closely with the Education and Training Adviser while directly overseeing the Chamber’s Partnership Brokers. Jo is the Education and Training Advisor for the Chamber. Jo has worked for a Registered Training Organisation and an Australian Apprenticeship Centre. She is able to assist Chamber members with their vocational education and training issues, and the benefits to employers of engaging with the training system. Jo also collects information on issues within the VET sector to provide recommendations for future actions, initiatives and developments.

Mic Smith’s experience in the Vocational Education and Training sector over the past 5 years has earned him the 2005 Prime Minister’s Award for Skills Excellence in 2005 for his Vocational Studies, and the 2007 Tasmanian Young Australian of the Year, and finalist for the Young Australian of the Year. He has worked as an enrolled nurse, youth and mental health worker, project officer and has even run his own consulting business for the past few years, conducting workshops, facilitation work and projects for various schools, industry and community organisations.
He joined the Chamber in 2010 as the Community, Business and Industry Partnership Broker. Mic will be working with industry and business leaders and community organisations across the ACT to support young people in their career and transition opportunities.
Pete is the Communications Officer for the Employment, Education and Training sector of the Chamber. He ensures the EET staff are constantly keeping in touch with each other regarding events, meetings and projects being run. Pete is the first point of contact for any EET enquiries from schools, business and community organisations. He manages and distributes weekly and monthly newsletters and also provides general administrative support for the EET team.
Suellen is the Chamber’s Finance Officer and she provides the complete accounting services and financial management for both the Chamber and the Commonwealth grant programs currently run at the chamber. Suellen has extensive experience in her field and works part time at the chamber.
Greg is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Chamber's workplace relations team. Greg is also actively involved in assisting members with their WR and HR issues, including agreement making, representation in Fair Work Australia hearings, and as a member of the ACT OHS Council. He delivers seminars for members on a wide range of workplace relations, industrial relations and people management issues. Greg has 25 years experience in the field of workplace relations/human resource management.
Scott is responsible for the providing day-to-day workplace relations and human resources advice to Chamber members on their WR and HR issues. He also supports members in more involved projects such as the development and approval of Enterprise Agreements. Scott has 10 years experience in the field of workplace relations/human resource management.

Stephanie is the primary contact at reception. Stephanie is responsible for the main Switchboard, management of boardroom bookings, other meetings and daily monies. Stephanie provides administrative support to all the departments within chamber. Stephanie assists the Events and Communications Director with behind the scene tasks to help make our events a success she is present at the majority of Chamber events.
David assists Chamber members with visa and immigration issues.
